Romance Olivia


Kinda my album of the month. Keep playing in car and ipod while working. This is Olivia Ong's latest album, also my first time listening her full album. Makes me searching back for her old tracks... This happen before like I just started to listen Tanya Chua.

Beside that, I really don't buy the idea from our Chinese music industry. The album size are getting bigger n bigger or weird to me. Yeah, maybe they could create some effects or impact on display, but can the company also come out a 'normal' edition? At least to cater those who still buy or listen or collect CD? (As I'm one of them) ahaha..

Chapter 2: Basic Half Marathon Training Schedule for Beginners

After the discussion, we never mention anything and talk about it anymore.

On 22 July 2011, i received an email from "Pro Runner". When i open it, i get shock! It was the schedule. He then walk to my cubicle and said "Well, now is the time to start your training. Must start now else it will be too late".

He then show me the application "iMapMyRun" that can install in iphone to track the running distance,your running pace and how to use the map to measure your route distance and choose the appropriate trainning location.



After download the software I was a little bit nervous because the weekend about to come and i know that i must get my training route before i can start my 1st training session.

I'm using 2 hr to look for the training location thru the map that near my home, at the same time the distance and place must suit to my training condition. After measure the distance and its location, i choose "Padang Polo". A very big round shape field for me to run looping.

The journey of my 1st half marathon

Chapter 1: Is it too late?

I'm not sure since when i start to have interesting on running, maybe during the time i bought a book that talked about running last year? Or maybe something else which i cant be sure(but i did not read it immediately after i bought it. I only read it after i begin my half marathon training).

All the while running for me is very tough and meaningless compare to other sports like football. Is very impossible for me to enjoy running. Furthermore a weight like me 95KG going for running is like looking for a trouble for myself. Might as well go for swimming.

The day that i decided for running is very simply drama. Like usual, every morning, i will have my breakfast together with my colleague in our office canteen. 1 of my colleague ( Pro long distance runner) told us that 2011 PENANG BRIDGE MARATHON is open for registration and the others start to share about their experience on last year PENANG BRIDGE MARATHON.

All was very exciting and laughing until i post a question to the "Pro Runner", "would it be too late for me to start training for half marathon?". Everyone was shock in their face and look at me. The "Pro Runner" was very happy and encouraging me "ofcourse not. You still have plenty of time. I will send you the schedule".

And this is my journey begin...

Last night have some time to play with it, my first digital sketches or doodle. If im going to buy an iPad, its all because of this.

I feel good

After my Sunday long distance run (7 miles) with smarter Kiv, the next day morning i go for my 30min recovery run.

I still remember my 1st recovery run is a disaster. Tired and serious knee pain, but i m glad that i m able break thru my very 1st obstacle by finish a 20min recovery run.

I will be sharing my journey of my very 1st marathon soon, so stay tune :)

Anyway, is good to touch the ground and run.

Follow my fellow running instructor; Smarter Ping to Botanic Garden for my first training session? haha.. He is in full gear with his Nike+ and Apple stuff...etc. Packed in with determination and passion as well! And below is the distance between Pro and Amateur. lol~ Ok although it sounds a little crazy, but we are preparing for this; 21KM... fingers cross!!
